Victoria holds a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology (Health Psychology) from the University of Queensland, and has been practicing as a registered Psychologist for over 7 years. Victoria has predominantly worked with adults and older adults. Victoria has experience in treating common psychological difficulties such as depressionanxiety disorderssubstance abuse, grief and loss, disordered sleep, and in promoting adjustment following life changes or adversities.

Victoria’s training in Health Psychology means that in addition to skills in counseling, assessment and treatment of psychological disorders, she can offer interventions that target the link between psychological and physical health. Victoria is experienced with helping individuals to cope with the many challenges of living with physical issues such as chronic pain and chronic diseases, women’s health, and provides support in the recovery from injury and other major health events. Victoria is also interested in improving overall quality of life, including supporting lifestyle changes (e.g., weight management) and finding ways to build meaning, healthy habits and fulfillment.

Victoria offers a high level of training in psychological assessment for adults, case formulation, and evidence-based therapies. Victoria utilises primarily Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Victoria is warm and compassionate and works collaboratively with her clients. She strives to help individuals find their strengths and to empower them to make positive changes.
