Aimee completed her qualifications at the University of Canberra, which included training at the University Psychology Clinic, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service programs, and the Alexander Maconochie Centre. Aimee has worked with individuals, families and gained experience facilitating group programs.
In session, Aimee brings an authentic, non-judgemental approach to her practice and works collaboratively with clients to achieve their goals and lead a more fulfilling life. She supports clients through evidence-based approaches for a range of concerns, including anxiety, stress, habit formation and behaviour change, and interpersonal difficulties. She also evaluates her work to ensure she is meeting clients’ needs and there is progress toward their goals.
Aimee utilises Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy most regularly in her practice and is working to expand her experience with additional treatment models and populations, specifically couples.
