Ana Diaz is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and a Medicare service provider. Ana was born in Madrid, Spain, where she achieved the Bachelor of Psychology (Honours). She undertook a 4 years internship with the Australian Psychology Board and became Registered Psychologist in Australia.
Over the last 7 years, she has sharpened her knowledge and experience working with impulse control and mood disorders as well as couples in Australia. Over her whole career, she has utilised her skills in a broad range of settings such as private practice, schools, adult education, community and forensic settings.
She has acquired knowledge and expertise using a great variety of evidence approaches such as Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Systemic Therapy for relationships, Schema Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. In collaboration with her clients, Ana follow the most suitable approach to help clients to achieve changes oriented to a more fulfilling life.
