Claire is a Senior Registered Psychologist with over 25 years’ experience in a variety of settings including telehealth, face-to-face individual, and group therapy, in private practice as well as government and not-for-profit organisations.
Claire holds a Bachelor of Psychology degree with a Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Claire is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and is registered with Medicare Australia. She completed her training at The University of Western Australia, Curtin University, and the College of Professional Psychology. Her teaching qualification was obtained from Edith Cowan University.
Claire provides individually tailored and evidence-based therapeutic interventions and strategies to help clients gain a better understanding of themselves and their difficulties. Claire works with clients in identifying ways to effectively manage difficulties and challenges, helping clients to build stronger foundations for life.
Claire has worked with many different presenting issues and has a strong interest in peri and postnatal issues, trauma, children and family issues, work issues and workers compensation. Other areas of interest are detailed below:

Claire primarily works within Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solutions Based Brief Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Therapy. Utilising these approaches she helps clients better understand themselves, their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Helping clients to develop alternative coping strategies, skills, and responses to better manage their challenges and lives is a rewarding journey that Claire enjoys.
In Claire’s own time she enjoys photography, renovating, cooking and being with her family and friends. She particularly enjoys spending time with her two chocolate Labrador retrievers – Bosley and Kara; as well as her two cats Tiggy and Shyla.
