Kate is eclectic in her approach and uses her training in various psychological approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focussed Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Reality Therapy and Couples Therapy. Kate believes strongly in client-centred ideas of empathy, unconditional positive regard and genuineness and believes that the therapeutic relationship is a key part of the process.
Kate is passionate about helping clients obtain insight into their lives and finding what is needed to assist with making positive change. Kate is compassionate, supportive and non-judgmental.
She looks forward to working with individuals and couples from all backgrounds, including those who identify as being from the LGBTQIA+ community.
