Fiona is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Medicare Australia and the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. (AAPi).
Since 1990 Fiona has studied or worked in psychology. She has worked as a psychology research assistant, lecturer in educational psychology, school psychologist, and as a private practice therapist.
Fiona aims to facilitate a therapeutic relationship focused on building a positive rapport with clients in a caring and empathetic manner. The goal of her counselling based sessions is to increase client self-understanding and encourage self-learning.
She utilises Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Fiona assists children, adolescents and adults with anxiety and depression.
