Liz is a Clinical Psychologist with nearly 30 years of experience in the field. Her extensive career has spanned diverse areas, including forensic psychology, addictions, community and hospital mental health, inpatient and outpatient oncology support, private practice (including as a provider for Victim Support Services), employee assistance programs (EAP), and tertiary counselling.

She has a background in providing assessment and intervention for a wide range of concerns such as depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, and adjustment difficulties. Holding a Master’s Degree in Psychology (Clinical), she is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society.

Her therapeutic work focuses on older adolescents and adults facing emotional, personal, and behavioural challenges. She adopts a strengths- and values-based approach to help individuals make sense of their experiences, empowering them to implement meaningful changes that enhance coping, resilience, and overall balance.

Drawing on a range of evidence-based therapies, her practice incorporates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy.

Liz works with clients aged 16+.
