Rachel Heming is a Provisional Psychologist currently completing her Master of Clinical Psychology. She provides support to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing concerns such as depression and anxiety, drawing on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Rachel works collaboratively with clients to build insight, develop practical coping strategies, and increase psychological flexibility in ways that align with their individual values and goals.
Rachel has professional experience supporting victim-survivors of domestic violence and approaches her work from a neuroaffirming and trauma-informed perspective. She is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Rachel recognises the diverse ways individuals experience and process the world, and tailors her approach to meet each person’s unique strengths and needs. Her practice is grounded in compassion and evidence-based care, supporting clients to build resilience and work towards meaningful, sustainable change.
