Sam is a Provisional Psychologist with a strong interest in supporting people to navigate stress, work-related challenges, and life transitions. Sam completed her undergraduate studies at Bond University in 2011, before returning to study a decade later, alongside professional work and as a mature-age student to complete her fourth year, and then a Master of Professional Psychology, at Monash University.
Sam’s professional background has largely focused on strengthening mental health capability within organisational settings. This has included a strong focus on working with individuals, teams and leaders to promote psychoeducation and wellbeing, design work systems that promote health and identify and respond to psychosocial hazards.
This work alongside academic studies has shaped a thoughtful, grounded approach to therapy that values both evidence-based practice and lived experience.
In therapeutic work, Sam primarily draws on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and related evidence-based approaches. She works collaboratively with clients to explore patterns of thoughts, emotions and behaviours, and to develop practical strategies that align with client goals and values.
Sam’s style is structured yet flexible, always guided by what will be most helpful for the individual. Clients can expect a warm, respectful space where their experiences are genuinely heard.
