Stuart has held full registration as a psychologist since 2011 and is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists. Stuart has considerable experience helping people develop and repair their wellbeing and resilience. He is committed to helping clients develop essential strengths and to work toward overcoming their psychological difficulties.

Originally from Queensland, Stuart has had a varied occupational background. Stuart has worked as a clinician in emergency, hospital and community mental health areas. He also has broad experience in government at Federal, State and Territory levels and has manual trade(s) experience.

Stuart is a collaborative therapist that likes to help with adjustment and life transitions, change, grief, work, occupation difficulties, depression, anxiety, physical health conditions, pain and age-related change. Stuart is pluralist in the use of various therapeutic approaches including Acceptance & Commitment  Therapy ACT, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy, with a deep interest in existential themes nascent to all life experience.

Stuart is a down-to-earth, plain-speaking clinician with a very broad background who knows that people do not need experts to tell them what a meaningful life is. But sometimes, help or support may be needed to find, identify and articulate alternative perspectives, new ways of viewing the world, or navigating ways through difficulty.
