Mayara Cordeiro is a provisional psychologist from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with a passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. She completed her Bachelor of Psychology in 2020 and holds a Postgraduate Degree in Health and Hospital Psychology.
Mayara has experience working with adults and young adults, addressing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, work-related stress, relationship and family difficulties, and self-esteem challenges. She has a particular interest in grief therapy and is dedicated to supporting clients through some of life’s most difficult moments.
She integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic approaches into her practice, tailoring her therapeutic methods to each client’s needs. With an empathetic and client-centred approach, Mayara creates a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard and understood. She is committed to ongoing learning and continuously exploring new therapeutic techniques to provide the best possible care.
