She is interested in the ways early experiences, attachment relationships, and broader social and cultural contexts shape how people understand themselves and navigate the world.
Her approach is person-centred and grounded in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). She also integrates schema-informed approaches and DBT skills training where helpful.
Patrice believes that a respectful and collaborative therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful therapy. She aims to offer a compassionate and grounded space, where clients can feel safe to explore patterns, build insight, strengthen coping, and create sustainable change.
Patrice finds it rewarding to witness people reconnect with their capacity for growth and move forward with greater confidence and agency.
